Mississauga, ON
Job ID 10446
Our client is a leading freight forwarding and logistics company, specializing in air, sea, and ground transportation. With a strong presence in Canada and an extensive global network, they provide end-to-end supply chain solutions that ensure timely and efficient delivery across a wide range of industries. Known for their commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction, they continuously innovate to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
The company thrives on a “work hard, play hard” philosophy, valuing accountability, ownership, and proactive problem solving. Micromanagement is not part of their culture, as long as you take ownership of your responsibilities; you are empowered to make decisions, drive results, and grow within the organization. Good performance is recognized and rewarded, and collaboration, creativity, and initiative are encouraged at every level.
A competitive compensation package is on offer, inclusive of a $60,000 to $75,000 base salary (commensurate upon experience).
If you are a self-directed, passionate, and hands-on professional who enjoys managing shipments end-to-end and delivering exceptional results, this role is for you. You will take ownership of operations, tackle complex challenges, and make a tangible impact on the business.
The position also provides significant growth opportunities, including direct exposure to senior management, hands-on experience with high-value key accounts, and participation in strategic cross-functional projects. You will contribute to process improvements, drive operational efficiency, and gain experiences that support career progression toward senior operational or managerial roles, while enhancing your professional development.
The Logistics Specialist manages the day-to-day operational activities for air, sea, and ground shipments. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your decisions directly influence the movement of high-value shipments and customer satisfaction. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams, ensuring seamless shipment execution from booking to delivery.
